Real Estate Analyst Program

Real Estate Analysts are part of Pitcairn Properties Inc.’s (PPI) Two-Year Analyst Program. In this position, you support PPI in managing a portfolio of private real estate investments. At the end of the second year, the program is completed – allowing the analyst to move on to Graduate School or other investment position opportunities outside of the company.

This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the team and receive valuable exposure to all aspects of our business. Overall responsibilities will be to support the asset management team while gaining exposure to other areas in the real estate industry.

Activities include:

  • Analyzing information on tenants, borrowers and properties
  • Assist Asset Management in the operation and Supervision of property portfolios
  • Research real estate markets and submarket conditions
  • Coordinate due diligence for property sales and refinancing
  • Preparing marketing materials and client presentations
  • Developing and maintaining databases
  • Communicating with internal clients and local market intelligence sources
  • Assisting with the creation of presentations and speeches
  • Assemble debt and equity solicitation packages
  • Assist in constructing strategic plans and annual budgets for existing assets.
  • Ad-hoc request by senior management

Qualifications: Qualifications include good analytical skills, superb organizational skills and desire to work in the real estate investment environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Being able to prioritize and manage work flow is a must. 0-1 year experience is preferable. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of discounted cash flow modeling. Must have good working knowledge of Excel; knowledge of Argus a plus. A college degree with a BS/BA in Finance or Real Estate is preferred. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is desired.
